Elizabeth C. Weis Kreidler
Ottawa - Elizabeth C. Weis Kreidler, 96, of Ottawa, passed away 10:50 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Meadows at Putnam Acres.  She was born May 7, 1918 in Detroit, MI, to the late Felix Joseph and Bertha (Messelis) Callawaert.  On May 23, 1936, she married Elmer Weis, who died May 4, 1964. On June 11, 1968, she married James Kreidler who died October 24, 1991.
Elizabeth is survived by her children: Ron (Marge) Weis of Naples, FL, John (Evie) Weis of Ottawa, Janet Bhatti of Ottawa; 2 daughters-in-law: Judy Weis of Michigan and Sandy Weis of Ottawa;  Terry (Darlene) Kreidler of Colorado and Alan (Mary Jo) Kreidler of Lima;  Sherrie (Jim) Butler of Ottawa and Sue Frey of Pandora; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a sister: Jen (Stewart) Randall of Royal Oak, MI.  She is preceded in death by 2 sons: Robert Weis  and Thomas Weis; a granddaughter, Dawn Weis; and 2 sisters: Martha Parys and Rachell Pollentier.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar Rosary Society, and a former member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a member of Ottawa's American Legion, Eagles and VFW Auxiliaries.  She was an avid card player, enjoyed golfing, bowling and she loved ballroom dancing.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Glandorf.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a CLC rosary at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church Building Fund and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
