Elizabeth M. Rayle
LEIPSIC – Elizabeth M. Rayle, 94, of Leipsic died at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born September 21, 1918 in Putnam County to the late Albert and Stella (Casteel) Keeran. On September 30, 1939, she married Wayne Rayle and he died October 12, 2002.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Mary E. Bishop and Marty A. (Ken) Shoemaker both of Leipsic, a sister: Margie Stevenson of McComb; 6 grandchildren: Alan (Terri) Rayle, Daniel (Lori) Rayle, William Bishop Christina Bishop, Sarah (Jason) Newell and Ryan (Jori) Shoemaker; 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death also by 2 sons: Wayne D. and Dennis A. Rayle and 2 sisters: Rosemary Filbrun and Vivian Byrkett and 2 great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Rayle Brothers Ford Tractor Co.. She was a member of First Christian Church, Leipsic.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at First Christian Church, Leipsic with Rev. Tim Eding officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Elevator Fund.
