Ellen M. Bishop

LEIPSIC - Ellen M. Bishop, 93, died peacefully at The Meadows of Leipsic, 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015. She was born October 10, 1922 in McComb to the late Albert Ray and Lettie Mae (Wells) Rader. On July 4, 1942 she married Harold Bishop who died June 29, 2000.

She is survived by a daughter: Sharon Rossi of New York; 3 grandchildren: Theodore C. (Shari) Rossi and Robert M. Rossi both of New York, and Dana-Megan Rossi of Virginia; 2 great-grandchildren: Sydney and Tyler Rossi; and 2 sisters: Olive Rosenberger of Findlay and Ruth Alice Groh of Defiance. She was also preceded in death  by a son: Ronnie Bishop; a grandson: Matthew Rossi; 4 sisters: Lucille Mason, Lois Hermon, Mary Ray, and Pat Sidenstricker; and 3 brothers: Carl, Den, and Keith Rader.

Ellen had worked in her sister's dress shop, The Style Shop, in Leipsic for many years. She was a member of New Hope Bethel United Methodist Church, Leipsic all her life where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of Ladies Aid Society. Ellen had been a 4-H Advisor for Deshler Modern Maids.

A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at LOVE-FUNERAL HOME Leipsic with Rev. Tom Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
