Elmer "Dean" Gilbert
CONTINENTAL - Elmer "Dean" Gilbert, 35, of Continental, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his parent's residence.  He was born December 28, 1978 in Lima to Elmer and Julie (Hull) Gilbert who survives in Continental.
Dean is survived by his parents and a sister, Elissa Kirkland of New Bavaria.  He was the best uncle to his two nieces: Kaytlin  and Lilian Kirkland.  Dean was the type of person that got along with everyone.
A funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. Justin Sterrett officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont.   Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service on Monday at the funeral home.
