Elvia M. Rodriguez

LEIPSIC – Elvia M. Rodriguez, 68, of Leipsic, died at 4:49 a.m., Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf.  She was born December 19, 1955, in Lima to the late Fernando and Julia (Canul) Roa.

Elvia is survived by three children: Fabian (Lydia) Rodriguez of Cypress, Texas, Desiree Rodriguez of Leipsic and Robert Lee (Stephanie) Rodriguez of Leipsic; five grandchildren: Gabriel Rodriguez, Catalina Zuniga, Ullises Zuniga, Jr., Olivia Rodriguez and Gabriella Zuniga; one great-grandchild on the way; and six siblings: Linda Roa of Houston, Texas, Robert Roa of Columbus Grove, Christina (Mark) Bejarano of Findlay, Susan Roa of Leipsic, Alex Roa of Lima, and Sandra Roa of Leipsic.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Fernando "Chico" Roa Jr. and Natividad Roa.

Elvia enjoyed music, dancing, driving her car, was a free spirit and loved spending time with her  friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Mayr's Parish Life Center, Leipsic.
