Elvin L. Moore, Jr.

HAMLER - Elvin L. Moore, Jr., 73, of Hamler died 3:38 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born January 19, 1945 in McComb to the late Elvin L. and Florence (Punches) Moore, Sr.

He is survived by two sisters,  Leona (James) Hattery of Ottawa and Myra (Glen) Spangler of Hamler; two brothers, Clair Friedhoff of Fayette and Dennis Moore of Hamler; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded  in death by his sister, Georgia Jones and two sisters-in-law, Marylene Friedhoff and Annetta Moore.

Elvin was a laborer and a U.S. Veteran. He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians and he enjoyed country music.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor James Erven officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Township Cemetery, Hamler. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
