Elvira Ybarra

LEIPSIC - Elvira Ybarra, 93, of Leipsic, died 8:46 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born September 11, 1928 in Dool, TX to the late Martin and Irene (Delgado) Olivo.  On April 25, 1945, she married Jose Ybarra.  He died June 16, 2016.

Survivors include twelve children: Maria Briley of Leipsic, Marselino (Leticia) Ybarra of El Paso, TX, Alicia Enriquez of Alvin, TX, Gloria (Ramiro) Godinez of Brady, TX, Letisia (Julian) Ayala of Dunkirk, Antonio Ybarra of Defiance, Amalia (John) Sanchez of Big Spring, TX, Pablo Ybarra of Leipsic, Carmen Rubio of Leipsic, Jose A. Ybarra of Columbus, Margie (Joe) Chadwick of Killen, TX and Daniel Tijerina of Leipsic; 38  grandchildren; 96 great-grandchildren; 37 great-great grandchildren; and three siblings: Eulalia Rivenes of Del Rio, TX, Martha Gutierez of Fort Worth, TX and Reynaldo Olivo of Del Rio, TX.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Anna Marie Ybarra and Jacinta Ybarra; a son, Gerardo Ybarra; two sons-in-law Paul Briley and Erasmo Enriquez; three brothers: Martin Olivo, Jr., Everado Olivo and Reymundo Olivo; and a sister, Aurora Zapata.

Elvira retired from Temcole in McClure.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.  She was a great Mom and a dedicated homemaker to her family.  Elvira enjoyed crocheting, reading and loved to listen to music.

Funeral service will begin 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Fr. Ron Schock officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
