Emmogene May McClure
Oakwood - Emmogene M. McClure, 92 of Oakwood died 10:50 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.   She was born April 13, 1922 in Cloverdale to the late William and Ruth (Stirn) Wreede.  On April 13, 1942 she married Robert McClure who died August 29, 1971.
Emmogene is survived by her children: Carla (Bill) Morse of McComb, Barbara (John) Brittig of Oakwood and Larry (Judi) McClure of Findlay; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren and a brother: Eugene Wreede of Ayersville.  She is preceded also in death by a grandson, Brian Brittig and a granddaughter-in-law, Lorna Morse.
Emmogene worked at Cooper Hatchery in Oakwood and retired from Campbell Soup Company in 1978.  She was a member of Twins Oaks United Methodist Church in Oakwood.   She graduated from Continental High School  in 1939.  She was a caretaker for  Juleah  Williams and enjoyed crafts and baking.
A funeral service will begin  11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015  at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Jonathan Morse  officiating.   Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood.   Visitation will be from  2 to 8 P.M. Monday and 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Tuesday  at the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
