Eric M. Westrick

OTTAWA - Eric M. Westrick, 39, of Ottawa, died 7:14 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born April 23, 1982 in Bluffton to Dennis and Ann (Brinkman) Westrick and they survive in Pandora.

Other survivors include two sisters: Amy Westrick of Pandora and Stacey (Michael) Cellar of McComb; eight nieces and nephews: Jada, Tony and Nick Steinmeyer and Anthony, Shaylyn, Ethan, Emma and Matthew Cellar; paternal grandmother, Dolly Westrick of Ottawa and maternal grandparents: Carl and Helen Brinkman of Ottawa.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Westrick.

Eric drove truck for Valley Transportation of Ashland, Ohio.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and the Ottawa Eagles.  Eric was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed Nascar and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday and 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.  A scripture service will begin at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Masks are requested upon entrance into the funeral home and church.
