Esther F. Riepenhoff
Miller City - Esther F. Riepenhoff, 92  of Miller City  died 4:50 p.m.  Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Lima Memorial Hospital.  She was born September 28, 1922 in Glandorf  to the late Bernard and Emma (Verhoff) Recker.  On May 2, 1945 she married Clarence Riepenhoff who died June 29, 1990.
Esther is survived by 2 daughters: Diane (Ralph) Kleman of Columbus Grove and Darlene (Richard) Stechschulte of Glandorf; 3 sons: Michael Riepenhoff, William Riepenhoff and Dale Riepenhoff all of Ottawa; 7 grandchildren: Christine (Keith) Shaffer, Brenda (Michael) Kizer, Lisa, Dan and Lori Kleman, Angie (Brian) Ruhe and Kyle (Michelle) Stechschulte; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister: Arlene Haselman of Leipsic;  a sister-in-law: Donna Recker of Glandorf and a brother-in-law: Don (Monica) Miller of Ottoville.  She  is preceded in death by 2 sons: David and John Riepenhoff; 3 brothers: Alfred Recker, Amos Recker and Norman Recker and 3 sisters: Celesta Miller, Alma Niese, Rita Weis.
Esther was a homemaker.  She was member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City and its Altar Rosary Society.  She was a past member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia.  She volunteered at area nursing homes.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and family, as well as playing cards and gardening.
A Mass of  Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Fr. Stephen Schroeder officiating.  Burial will follow in church cemetery.   Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m.  Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a parish rosary service will be at 2 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the charity of donor's choice.
