ETHEL E. ICKES
CLOVERDALE - Ethel E. Ickes, 88, of Cloverdale, died March 20, 2013 at Lutheran Senior Services at Breeze Park in St. Charles, MO.  She was born November 7, 1924 in Putnam County to the late William and Orah (Ladd) Myers.  On June 20, 1958 she married Raymond Ickes, and he died December 5, 1967.
Survivors include her son David (Dana) Ickes of O'Fallon, MO; 6 grandchildren: Cassandra (Mario) Rodriguez of Fenton, MO, Erika Dennison of Delta, OH, Seth Ickes of O'Fallon, MO, Tanner Ickes of O'Fallon, MO, Kyle Brackenbury of Bryan, OH and Amanda Brackenbury of Montpelier, OH; 4 great-grandchildren: Deacon Dennison, Landyn Ickes, Cooper Herrman and Mason Shoemaker; 2 sisters: Ruth Prowant of Cloverdale and Helen Holtzapple of Elida; a brother, Earl Myers of Columbus Grove and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Marion Myers, David Myers, Isaac Myers, Samuel Myers, Virgil Myers and Simon Myers; and a sister, Louise Elkins.
Mrs. Ickes was a homemaker and a member of Dupont Church of the Brethren and the Cloverdale Garden Club.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Dupont Church of the Brethren with Rev. Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
