Eugene William Wagner

LEIPSIC – Eugene William Wagner, 88 of Leipsic passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at his residence.  He was born September 29, 1937, in New Bavaria, to the late Fred and Mildred "Millie" (Provest) Wagner.  In 1960 he married Alice Eiden, she preceded him in death on January 4, 2006.

Gene is survived by two children: Jerry Wagner and Linda Wagner, both of Leipsic.

He is preceded in death by two siblings, Kenneth (Ruth) Wagner and Marlene (Ken) Maag.

Gene had served in the U.S. Army.   He retired from Philips, Ottawa and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.  Gene loved going to antique tractor shows.  He enjoyed making different things.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.  A graveside service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Leipsic with military rites by the Leipsic VFW and American Legion.
