Evelyn M. Koenig

LEIPSIC -- Evelyn M. Koenig, 89, of Leipsic died 6:07 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born July 6, 1928 in Ottawa to the late Albert and Florence (Balbaugh) Brinkman.  On May 9, 1953 she married Felix C. Koenig, who survives in Leipsic.

Also surviving are 3 sons:  Stephen Koenig of Leipsic, Thomas Koenig of Ottawa, and Richard (Doris) Koenig of Leipsic; 3 grandchildren:  Travis, Sophia and Tiffany Koenig; and a brother:  Carl (Helen) Brinkman of Ottawa.

Evelyn is preceded in death by 3 sons:  Joseph, John and Daniel Koenig and a brother:  Paul Brinkman.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.  She was also a member of the Leipsic C. L. of C.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Father William Pifher officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and again Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic where a scripture service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
