Evelyn Wannemacher
Ottoville – Evelyn Wannemacher, 90, of Ottoville died 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at The Meadows of Kalida.  She was born August 18, 1921 in Kalida to the late Ben and Philomena (Feltman) Maag.  On February 14, 1946, she married Harold "Spotty" Wannemacher.  He died September 24, 1974.
She is survived by 7 children: Jerry (Donna) Wannemacher of Ottoville, Joyce (Tim) Drewyore of Delphos, Ken "Ed" (Chris) Wannemacher of Ottoville, Judy (Tony) Horstman of Cloverdale, Pam (Jim) Wallick of Ottoville, Gene (Janice) Wannemacher of Ottoville and Bill (Chris) Wannemacher of Ottoville; 15 grandchildren: Bryan Wannemacher, Jayme Wannemacher, Shelly Grothouse, Nikki Horstman, Jennifer Gerhardstein, Matthew Wannemacher, Kimberly Horstman, Karrie Langhals, Scott Horstman, Amanda Woods, Kylee Cramer, Tricia Hemker, Marla Wannemacher, Josh Robbins and Taylor Robbins; 20 great-grandchildren with 2 expected in the summer; 2 sisters: Mildred (Wilbert) Roof of Columbus Grove and Marcia (Jim) Kuhlman of Ottawa; 5 brothers: Carl (Rita) Maag of Columbus Grove, Urban (Rosemary) Maag of Columbus Grove, Eugene (Shirley) Maag of Columbus Grove, Dennis (Rita) Maag of Kalida and Leroy (Karen) Maag of Columbus Grove; 2 sisters-in-law: Viola Maag and Jennie Maag.  She is also preceded in death by 1 great-granddaughter: Samantha Horstman; 2 great-grandsons: Jayce and Aiden Wannemacher; 3 brothers: Omar, Daniel and Harold Maag; 1 sister and brother-in-law: Catherine and Harold Deters.
Evelyn was a homemaker.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Ottoville, its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.  She is a life member of Ottoville VFW Auxiliary Post #3740.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Ottoville Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. John Stites officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township, corner of St. Rts. 224 and 634 with a scripture service at 4 p.m.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Cemetery Board or the charity of donor's choice.
