Faith A. "Zip" Bradford

OAKWOOD – Faith A. "Zip" Bradford, 76, of Oakwood, passed away at 8:27 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Bryan Hospital. She was born December 27, 1945 in Jackson, MI to Russell H. and Hazel (Kimball) Hubbard.  On November 21, 1964, she married Donald G. Bradford, who preceded her in death on September 22, 2017.

Survivors include two children: Lisa (Jeremy) Dunning of Oakwood and Amy (Dr. Kevin) Park of Bryan; nine grandchildren: Heather Ladd, Dale Ladd, Claire Hurtt, Emma Hurtt, Brendan Hurtt, Ava Hurtt, Dr. Andrew Park, Katie Yankee and Emily Quimby; eight great-grandchildren: Spencer Ladd, Harper Yankee, Jaxon Park, Madyn Park, Wyatt Park, Bryce Park, Paxton Quimby and Gwendolyn Quimby; and two sisters: Jackie Burnham of Tecumseh, MI and Sandra Bosco of Cocoa Beach, FL.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Bradford; a grandchild, Darrian Hurtt; a great-grandchild, Eva Yankee; and seven siblings: Russell Hubbard, Jr., John Hubbard, Avis Simmons, Robert Hubbard, Marjorie Wyer, Nancy Town and Walter Carnahan.

Faith was a homemaker and a member of Twin Oaks United Methodist Church, Oakwood.  Family was most important to Faith.  She loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was well-known as "Gaga" to many. Faith enjoyed Facebook and had her own page titled, "Faith's Sunshine Corner". Throughout her life, she always kept a positive attitude even when she wasn't feeling well.  Faith will be dearly missed by her family.

Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, OAKWOOD with Dr. Kevin Park officiating.  Burial will follow at Little Auglaize Cemetery, Melrose. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
