Faye A. Kamphaus

OAKWOOD – Faye A. Kamphaus, 88, of Oakwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born September 8, 1933 in Dupont to the late Dorr and Agnes (Critten) Dimock.  On August 23, 1952, she married Cletus J. Kamphaus, he preceded her in death on May 30, 1973.

Faye is survived by three children: Joyce (James) Houck of Continental, Raymond (Sharon) Kamphaus of Dupont, Ronnie (Madonna) Kamphaus of Cloverdale; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother: Edward Dimock of Napoleon; and a sister: Donna Shisler of Oakwood.

She is also preceded in death by a brother, Carl (Jan) Dimock; a sister-in-law, Caroline Dimock; and a brother-in-law, Nolan Shisler.

Faye was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale.  She enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds.  Faye loved to spend time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed going to cookouts.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale with Father Jerome Schetter officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental, and again on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the Church.
