Florence M. Heferle
TOLEDO – Florence M. Heferle, 102, of Toledo died 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born February 7, 1910 in Palmer Township, Putnam County, OH to the late William and Cora (Demland) Hoffman.
In her late teens, Florence moved to Toledo to accept employment.  It is there she met and married Anthony "Tony" Heferle, who preceded her in death in 1996 after 60 years of marriage.  2 sisters also preceded her in death:  Evelyn Schafer and Adeline Ball.
Florence is survived by her brother:  Russell Hoffman of Continental; 2 nieces:  Marilyn (Ira) Kannel of Montpelier and Karen (Ronald) Cooper of Oakwood; and 2 nephew:  William (Kay) Hoffman and Timothy (Mary Jo) Hoffman, both of Continental. Many great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends, particularly those at Boulevard Church of Christ, where she was a member, also survive her.
Florence was a member of Boulevard Church of Christ, Toledo.  In 1975 Florence retired from Kroger after more than 30 years of service.  While there she had held various positions in several area Kroger Stores.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Steven Heilshorn officiating.  Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo.  Visitation will be Wednesday for 1 hour prior to the service.
