PANDORA -- Frances L. "Fran" Reese died 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born July 18, 1935 in Shelby County, OH to the late Ewald and Esther (Quellhorst) Kuck. On September 1, 1956 she married Richard Reese, who preceded her in death January 25, 2013.
Surviving are her children: Richard C. "Rick" Reese of Pandora and Patricia J. (John) Shanahan of Lima; 2 grandsons: Joseph and Michael Shanahan; 2 brothers: David (Beverly) Kuck and William (Tina) Kuck, both of New Bremen; 2 sisters: Barbara Dill of Alexandria, VA and Lois (Bruce) Saintignon of Celina.
Fran is preceded in death by a sister: Helen Haeseker and brother: Lee Kuck.
Fran graduated from New Bremen High School and Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as an R.N.C. and had worked in long-term care facilities for 22 years.
Graveside services will be11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Harman Cemetery Gilboa with Chaplain Kathie Tomazic officiating.
