Francis V. Schnipke
MILLER CITY – Francis V. "Frank" Schnipke, 61, of Miller City, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born December 2, 1950 in Lima to the late Isidore and Bertha (Vennekotter) Schnipke. On December 16, 1972, he married Bernadette Cutlip and she survives in Miller City. Also surviving are 3 children: Carol Schnipke of Columbus Grove, Michael (Shaunda) Schnipke of Ottawa and David Schnipke of Miller City; 4 grandchildren; 7 brothers: Bernard (Edna) Schnipke, James (Jan) Schnipke, Jerome (Sharon) Schnipke, David (Deb) Schnipke, Gregory (Nancy) Schnipke, Lawrence (Julie) Schnipke and Isidore (Vicki) Schnipke, Jr. all of Miller City and a sister: Mary Ann Schroeder of Miller City.
Frank retired after 36 years from the maintenance department at Campbell Soup Co, Napoleon. He was also a lifelong farmer. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City and had been a member of the Army National Guard.
Graveside services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Miller City with Fr. Stephen Schroeder officiating.
