Gary Dwayne Brooks

OTTAWA – Gary Dwayne Brooks, 64, of Ottawa died at his residence on Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was born June 5, 1953 in Lima to the late Silas and Lena (Barnes) Brooks.

He is survived by three brothers, Darrell (Brenda) Brooks of Dupont, Rusty (Wanda) Brooks and Brian Brooks both of Continental; a sister, Linda (Chuck) Collard of Defiance; and ten nieces and nephews.

Gary was a cook for Denny's restaurant. He was a member of the Continental Missionary Baptist Church. Gary loved to read and he cared deeply for his friends and family.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Continental Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Brent Hunter and Pastor Perry Mason officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the family.
