Pandora – Genevieve Marie "Jenny" Rosenberger, 99, of Pandora died 6:33 a.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Lima Memorial Health System after falling and suffering a brain injury. She was born March 13, 1913 in Florence, OH to the late William and Mary (Cole) Cook. On June 5, 1937 she married Edwin Eugene Rosenberger who died January 3, 2000.
Jenny is survived by her three children: Edwin Rosenberger of Gilboa, William (Karen) Rosenberger of Findlay, and Judy Frey of Pandora; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death is a son: James Arthur Rosenberger; three brothers: Howard, Carl and Art Cook; and two sisters: Mabel Davis and Emma Schlumbohm.
Jenny was a member of the Gilboa United Methodist Church, where she was an adult Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a homemaker in every sense of the word and unselfishly supported the endeavors of her husband and four children. The family could not imagine a better Mom and her friends will miss her very much.
A funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Ottawa, with Pastor Denny Coates officiating. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Baptist Church, Ottawa or to the Gilboa United Methodist Church.
