Glandorf - Gerald W. "Big E" Ellerbrock, 55 of Glandorf died at 4:21 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Bridge Hospice, Findlay. He was born May 16, 1961 in Lima to the late Virgil W. and Elizabeth (Meyerhoffer) Ellerbrock. On September 21, 1985, he married Betty Craig who survives in Glandorf.
Gerald is also survived by their two children: Krista (Nathan) Cram of Brandon, Vermont and Devin (Amanda) Ellerbrock of Ottawa; two grandchildren: Reagan Cram and Brantley Ellerbrock; four brothers: Jeff (Rose) Ellerbrock, Dan (Barb) Ellerbrock, Mike (Ruth) Ellerbrock and Steve (Lynn) Ellerbrock all of Ottawa; two sisters: Ann (Norm Averesch) Ellerbrock of Ottawa and Karen Kaufman of Leipsic. He is also preceded in death by a grandson: Declan Ellerbrock.
Gerald was a meat cutter for Save-A-Lot in Lima. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf Lion's Club and Ottawa Eagles. He enjoyed farming, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family and most important his grandkids. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and loved watching O-G Titan's Football.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m.
Memorials may be give to CAP (Cancer Assistance Program).
