Gloria Ann Brown

CONTINENTAL - Gloria Ann Brown, 63, of Continental, died 9:20 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.  She was born September 14, 1958 in Lima to Walter Joe and Luella Mae (Carnahan) Kosch.  Gloria's father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Continental. On September 18, 1976, she married Carroll Brown. He also survives in Continental.

Other survivors include 2 children: Shannon (Hannah) Brown and Amey (Pedro) Brown both of Continental; 5 grandchildren: Kaleb Brown, Nathan Soto, Hannah Soto, Morgan Szurminski and Hudson Brown; a great-grandson: Wesley Brown; 4 brothers: Joseph Ken (Betty) Kosch of Kalida, Michael (Marge) Kosch, Jeffrey (Michele) Kosch and Brian (Karen) Kosch all of Continental; and a sister-in-law: Jan Kosch of Oakwood.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Joe Kosch.

Gloria worked as an LPN for Brookview Health Care in Defiance.  She previously worked for Philips in Ottawa. Gloria loved bow hunting, fishing, camping and swimming. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandkids and great-grandson.

Funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental, with Rev. Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021 from  2 - 8 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
