Gloria Villela

LEIPSIC – Gloria Villela, 69, of Leipsic, passed away at 3:18 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her residence.  She was born October 9, 1952 in Lima to the late Henry and Guadalupe (Fuentes) Miranda.  On September 20, 1986, she married Conrado Villela, he survives in Leipsic.

Gloria is also survived by three children: Martin Miranda, Sabina Villela, and Jessica (Robby) Anderson, all of Leipsic; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a sister: Mary (Jose) Zamora of McComb; three brothers: Henry (Mary) Miranda Jr. of Findlay, Anthony (Jackie) Miranda and Jesse Miranda, both of Leipsic.

She is preceded in death by a son: Moises Villela; two brothers: Feliz Miranda and Michael A. Miranda; five sisters: Sussana L. Miranda, Beatrice (Mike) Rodriguez, Elena (Antonio) Miranda-Hernandez, Rose (Mario) Hernandez, and Victoria Miranda.

Gloria was a member of the Fountain of Life Church, Leipsic.  She was a former teacher for Texas Migrant Council, where she taught for 4 years.  Gloria loved to spend time with her family, grandkids and many friends.

Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Jose Zamora officiating.  Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
