OTTAWA - Gregorio L. Martinez, Jr., 76, of Ottawa died at 1:03 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at The Meadows at Putnam Acres, Ottawa. He was born February 10, 1937 in Brownsville, TX to the late Gregorio and Manuala (Ledesma) Martinez, Sr.
He is survived by 7 brothers and sisters: Ceslso Martinez of Brownsville, TX., Hernado Martinez of Ligonier, IN., Maria Garcia of  Leipsic, Fred Martinez of Columbus Grove, Eulali Martinez of Austin, TX., Marvin Martinez of Sacramento, CA., and Marlin Martinez of Brownsville, TX. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Lucardo and Martin Martinez.
Gregorio was a dishwasher at the Milano Club in Lima. He had been in the National Guard.
Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Deacon Val Lopez officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Pomeroy Cemetery, Ottawa.
