Gregory C. Kaufman

ST. CLOUD, FLORIDA – Gregory C. Kaufman, 60, of St. Cloud, Florida died suddenly, Saturday, December 31, 2022 in St. Cloud.  He was born on August 26, 1962, in Lima to Ambrose and Terese (Uphaus) Kaufman. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Ottawa.

Greg is also survived by three brothers: Joseph (Kay) Kaufman of Alabama, William Kaufman of Florida and Anthony Kaufman of Mississippi; and one sister, Marie (Brent) Kihm of Ottawa. He is also survived by two nephews: Joseph Kaufman II of Alabama and Tyler (Ariel) Kihm of Glandorf; and one niece, Amber Kihm of Toledo.

Greg was a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School, class of 1980, and Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He was a faithful Buckeye fan. He lived and worked in Florida for over thirty years. Greg worked most of his career at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  He studied landscape architecture, horticulture and he especially loved flowers. Greg always remembered birthdays and mailed special occasion cards to loved ones.

A memorial mass will begin 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to mass from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
