Grover D. Reed

OTTAWA - Grover D. Reed, 89, of Ottawa died 8:48 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.   He was born March 1, 1932 in Moore Hill, PA to the late John R. and Florence (Ives) Reed.  On December 24, 1954, he married Shirley Etta Card.  She died November 21, 2019.

Survivors include two daughters: Robin Wilson and Lisa Lewis both of Ottawa; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a twin brother, Jim (Carol) Reed of Emporium, PA; a niece, Cindy (Tom) Crouse; and four nephews: John Reed, Jimmy Reed, Tim Reed and Todd Reed.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gene (Zee) Reed and an infant sister.

Grover retired from Philips in Ottawa.  He was a US Navy veteran and loved gardening, and the Pittsburg Steelers and Pirates.

Private services will be held at a later date.
