Helen J. Morhart

OAKWOOD - Helen J. Morhart, 61, of Oakwood died 4:06 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Mercy Hospital of Defiance.  She was born September 11, 1955 in Gas City, IN to the late Ed and Ruby (Sims) Starbuck.  On September 2, 1976, she married Jerry Morhart who survives in Oakwood.

Also surviving are two children: Adam (Heather) Morhart of St. Joe, IN and Whitney Morhart of Oakwood and three grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Brandy Jo Morhart.

Helen was a homemaker and a member of Melrose United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m., Friday January 20, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
