Helen and Frank celebrated 50 years of marriage on November 27, 2015. Helen and Frank were the consummate soul mates, living together in Ayersville for their entire marriage.
Helen raised two boys: Jim (Brenda) Robbins of Twinsburg and Joe (J.R.) Andrion-Robbins of Dublin, and spent her married life as a homemaker, caring for her children and husband. She was also survived by two granddaughters: Gillian and Grace Robbins; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Helen was the organist at Ayersville United Methodist church for 30+ years. She worked on many charity projects, including the donation closet at her church where she received and organized clothes for the underprivileged. She assisted to re-build homes in Ottawa and New Orleans after the floods, supported numerous charity organizations and belonged for years to the Homemaker's Club of Defiance. She worked diligently in service at her church, where she was the member of the "Noodle Crew". Helen enjoyed traveling the country and world with her husband Frank. She worked tirelessly in her garden, providing fresh and canned goods to her entire family and the Path Center in Defiance. Helen led the family in religious education and was an active member of her Prayer Circle. She held all her family and friends close to her heart and daily prayed for their struggles and blessings.
Helen's generous heart and loving spirit will be missed by all her family and friends, especially by her husband Frank who was her best friend and for whom she was the love of his life.
