Herlinda Amador

LEIPSIC - Herlinda Amador, 71, of Leipsic, died 10:35 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  She was born June 13, 1950 in Ottawa to the late Ysac and Angelita (Torres) Reyna. She married and later divorced Ramon Amador, Sr.

Survivors include two sons:  Alejandro "Alex" (April) Amador and Ramon Jr. "Ray" (Julie) Amador, both of Leipsic; five grandchildren: Melinda Amador, Marcus Amador, Alexander Amador, Jyssica Brooke (Blake) Johnson and Olivia Marie Amador; three sisters: Maria Hernandez of Leipsic, Julia Cuevas of Brownsville, Texas, Aurora "Dora" Lopez of Edinburg, Texas; and three brothers: Aurelio Reyna of Brownsville, Texas, Roberto "Beto" Reyna of San Antonio, Texas and Jesus "Chuy" Reyna of Pharr, Texas.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Andres "Andy" Reyna.

Herlinda retired from Haggar Slacks, Texas. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and its Guadalupe Society.  Herlinda was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved her family and friends.

Funeral mass will begin 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Ron Schock and Deacon Ben Valdez officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and Tuesday one hour prior to mass at the church.
