Holly Cox

OTTAWA – Holly Cox, 92, of Ottawa, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born August 20, 1930, in Knott County, KY to the late Bradshaw and Sarah (Ashley) Gibson.  On February 2, 1952, she married Pearl Cox, he preceded her in death on January 19, 1981.

Holly is survived by two children:  Sarah Cass and Jason Cox, both of Ottawa; a granddaughter: Lorie (Ron) Beach of Pandora; and a great-grandchild: Nicholas Beach, also of Pandora.

She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Hawley Gibson, and Glenn Gibson; two sisters, Ollie Cox, and Lorie Watts; and a brother-in-law, Winfield Cox.

Holly was a member of Auglaize Free United Baptist Church, Maysville, Ohio.  She worked at St. Catherine's Care Center, Findlay as a nurses aid for 45 years.

A private funeral service will be held at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Main Street, Ottawa with Pastor Bill Prater officiating.
