Howard Pierman Welty II
Pandora - Howard Pierman Welty II, 72 of Pandora died 2:01 p.m. Saturday November 22, 2014 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born April 14, 1942 in Bluffton to the late Howard and Wanda (Moser) Welty. On November 25, 1962 he married Sharla Seyer and she survives. He is survived by his children: Natalie (Koll) Gardner of Granby, CO., Howard (Debra Wentz) Welty III of Lewis Center; grandchildren: Katie, Cruz and Kye Kuriyama and Ava Welty; step-grandchildren: Brittany, Moreya, Emily and Linneya Gardner, and Alex and Abbie Wentz; step great- grandchildren: Aiden and Kamden; sisters: Kay Sue Cherry of Pandora, Mona (Julian) Kempf of Upper Sandusky and Margaret Cherry of Pandora.
Howard was a certified general appraiser and owned and operated Welty and Associates. He is a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Eagles and Ottawa Masonic Lodge #325. He raised beef cattle, followed OSU Football, enjoyed his annual motorcycle trips to Wyoming and enjoyed College basketball especially during the sweet sixteen. Howard loved his family and his dog, Beau, and was a friend to all he met.
Funeral services will begin 2 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, with Pastor Tim Eding officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the funeral home, where there will be a Masonic service at 8 p.m. and 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Friday, November 28, 2014 also at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa.
