IMOGENE E. JONES
OTTAWA - Imogene E. Jones, 75, of Ottawa, died 7:45 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Meadows of Kalida.  She was born January 16, 1938 in Glandorf, OH to the late Neil and Eleanor (Rosenbauer) Gerding.  On November 5, 1960, she married James Hugh Jones, who died October 6, 2012.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Lisa (Ned) Kreinbrink of Ottawa and Kay Jones of Ottawa; 5 grandchildren: Benjamin, Jessica and Amanda Kreinbrink and Alexandra and Wesley Blankemeyer; and 4 brothers: James (Helen) Gerding of Kalida, Melvin (Judy) Gerding of Ottawa, John (Nancy) Gerding of Miller City and Steve (Gina) Gerding of Columbus Grove.
She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother in law, Norma (Dave) Fackler.
Imogene was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Rosary Altar Society. She retired as a cook from Brookhill Center. Imogene was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mass of Christian burial will begin 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.  Burial will follow in St Anthony Cemetery, Columbus Grove.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will begin at 7:50 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Putnam County Hospice or to the charity of the  donor's choice.
