Inez I. Sarka

KALIDA – Inez I. Sarka, 93 of Kalida, died 8:43 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024 at The Meadows of Kalida.  She was born March 7, 1931 in Kalida to the late Henry and Myrtle (Combs) Sarka.

Survivors include two nephews: Dave Sarka of Kalida and Scott (Kelly) Sarka of Cloverdale; three great- nieces and nephew: Brianna (Brett DeSote) Sarka. Christina (Zach) Brobst and Mo (Madeline) Sarka; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Sarka of Cloverdale.

Inez was also preceded in death by four siblings: Alfred Sarka, Earl (Mildred) Sarka, Bertie Sarka and Pauline Sarka; and a nephew, Daniel Sarka.

Inez retired from Sylvania/Philips formerly of Ottawa.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with her great nieces.

Funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Christopher Baker officiating.  Burial will follow in Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
