Ioma V. McCague

OAKWOOD – Ioma V. McCague, 85, of Oakwood, passed away at 7:53 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Kingsbury Place, Defiance.  She was born March 12, 1937 in Penrod, KY to the late Herbert and Juanita (Shelton) Wood. On November 17, 1962, she married Philip D. McCague. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1994.

Ioma is survived by two children: Gary (Neva) McCague of Alexandria, VA and Pamela (Craig) Rash of Archbold; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mike Kuilan of Chicago.

She is also preceded in death by four siblings.

Ioma retired from General Motors, Defiance. Her life was devoted to her family and friends. She loved on all people.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
