He is also survived by his Godparents, Joe and Jeri Guy, and lots of Great Aunts and Uncles that loved him so much.
Jacob was one of the most loving, kindhearted, loyal, hardworking, and wonderful sons that parents could ask for. He had a beautiful smile, and always greeted everyone he saw with it. He loved his job and his Chief family in Delphos, and it really brought out his amazing personality. He loved the people he worked with, and was proud that he was considered one of their best employees. Everyone who knew Jacob knows there was something different and special about him, and that was because of his faith and love for our Lord Jesus. It shown through Jacob in so many ways, his love and concern for others, his optimism towards life, he was always happy, and that cannot be said for everyone, but it was truly the case with Jacob. He learned so much from his Pastor, Daniel Messner, who both dedicated him as a baby, and baptized him two years ago at Jacob's request. Jacob was an amazing big brother to Ian, an example to look up to, they had so much fun together, and they brought joy into each other's lives. They were inseparable since the day Ian was born.
Jacob was a junior at Ottoville Local School, attending Vantage in the Network Systems program which he loved. He enjoyed so many things in life, some of which were being part of the OHS Marching Band, he ran on the track team for two years, he was part of the stage crew for the high school play, Peter Panic. He loved to star in the short funny clips that were made in the video production class. This all began when they made a clip on being late to school, and asked Jacob to star since he had real life experience in running late. He loved to get together with his Dad, Andrew and friends and play air soft. He also loved gaming with his brother, and friends online, who may know him by his tag name "Ricky Spanish". This all brought so much joy to him. We could go on forever about the joy that Jacob brought to each and every person he met, and Thank God for giving him to us all if it was only for a short time. We will miss you Jacob for the rest of our lives, and look forward to our Heavenly reunion where you will meet us at the gates and lead us to our Lord. May your legacy live on through your brother, Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. What an amazing life you have led!
