James Robert "Bobby" Gillette
Ottawa -- James Robert "Bobby" Gillette, 55, of Ottawa passed away at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Meadows of Ottawa. He was born March 15, 1960 in Zanesville, OH to the late Franklin L. Gillette and Margaret M. (Karl) Gillette who survives in Ottawa.
He is survived by four brothers: Franklin Jr. (Deb) Gillette of Beaverdam, Gary (Terry) Gillette of East Jordan, MI., David (Pam) Gillette, Thomas (Tricia) Gillette both of Ottawa; one sister: Barbara (Jeffery) Shurelds of Ottawa; many nieces and nephews; and his special dog: Hank.
Bobby participated in The Special Olympics and especially enjoyed basketball and wrestling. He was also an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
