James E. Burner
DOWNINGTOWN, PA - James E. Burner, 65, of Downingtown, PA., formerly of Leipsic, died at 1:12 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, PA. He was born June 12, 1947 in Leipsic to the late Edgar and Esther (Williams) Burner.
He is survived by 3 children: Hannah Burner and Benjamin Burner both of Downingtown, PA., and Samuel Burner of Raleigh, NC; a brother: Charles Burner of Ft. Myers, FL; and 3 sisters: Eileen Mains of Findlay , Eloise Crawfis of Gilboa, Pat Campbell of Waterville.
James was senior engineer for General Electric for 43 years. He was an active member of Calvary Fellowship Church, Downingtown, PA and was involved in mission work down in New Orleans.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
