James A. Carr
OTTAWA - James A. Carr, 80, of Ottawa died at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born September 9, 1932 in Toledo to the late John and Tressa (Rath) Carr. On September 13, 1952 he married Kathleen Zenk who died December 27, 1991.
He is survived by 4 children: Luann (Dennis) Schroeder of Ottawa, Michael (Christina) Carr of Toledo, Mary (David) Maas of Pandora, and Amy (Leroy) Ellerbrock of Glandorf; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers: John, William, Daniel, and Charles Carr.
Jim was a retired draftsman for Dinner Bell Food in Defiance. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Ottawa American Legion.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME,  Ottawa with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with military  rites by the Ottawa American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
