James A. Lovell

OTTAWA - James A. Lovell, 77, of Ottawa died 9:51 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.  He was born February 15, 1944 in Leipsic to the late Adrian J. and Audrey N. (Krouch) Lovell.  On August 13, 1983 he married Joanne Leopold, who survives in Ottawa.

He is also survived by 6 children:  Bradley (Andrea) Lovell of Bellefontaine, Lori (Jeff) Kohn of Girard, Cynthia (Ken) Kuhlman of Ottawa, John Moore of Germany, Joe (Melanie) Moore of Cincinnati and Christina (James) Hefty of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way; a brother: David (Judy) Lovell of Columbus and 2 sisters:  Barbara Thomas of Findlay and Rosemary (Charles) Cross.

James retired after 46 years from Allie Egry, Leipsic and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.  He was also a member of the Ottawa Eagles.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
