James "J.R." Tousley

FAIRBORN  - James "J.R." Tousley, 61, of Fairborn, formerly of Ottawa, died 8:02 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born August 14, 1961 in Lima to the late James L. and Linda (Wells) Tousley. On March 22, 1980, he married Christina Hawk and she survives in Fairborn.

Other survivors include three children: Jay Tousley of Huber Heights, Elisha Tousley of Fairborn and Tabatha (Steve) Zwiebel of Piqua; a daughter-in-law, Jamie Busick of Beavercreek; six grandchildren: Ethan, Caden, Tavian, Caleb, Jeffery Tousley and PaPa's princess, Averie Zwiebel; three brothers: Jerel Tousley of Oakwood, Jerry Tousley of Ottawa and Bill Warchol of Toledo; four sisters: Jamie Schoepfle of Ottawa, Paula (Robert) Herbert of Upper Sandusky, Billie Goble of Georgetown, KY and Lily Laudermilt of Paintsville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Tousley; a brother-in-law, Daniel Schoepfle; and a niece, Tiffany Schoepfle.

J.R. formerly owned JT Express, Ottawa. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. J.R. loved to cook, coach, help with fundraisers and spend time with his family and friends.

Funeral service will begin 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.  Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
