Rev. James E. Wright, Jr.

CHARLOE – Rev. James E. Wright, Jr. 54, of Charloe died 7:50 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at his residence.  He was born January 15, 1963 in Defiance to the late James E. and Jacqueline (Worthen) Wright, Sr. On May 1, 2010 he married Tammy Swagerty who survives in Charloe.

He is also survived by 3 sons:  Levi Wright of Paulding, Caleb Wright of Alaska and James Brumley of Texas; 4 grandchildren; a sister:  Judy (Brian) Davis of Cloverdale and a brother:  Jerry Wright of Paulding.

James was a member of Auglaize Chapel Church of God, Oakwood.  He formerly worked as a maintenance man for Defiance Regional Hospital and was an Army veteran.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Auglaize Chapel Church of God with Pastor Stan Harmon officiating.  Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood and again on Thursday for one hour prior to the service at church.
