James G. Wyant

LEIPSIC – James G. Wyant, 72, of Leipsic, died 8:19 p.m. Friday, December 25, 2020 at his residence.  He was born August 20, 1948 to the late Donald and Agnes (Wolke) Wyant.  On March 10, 1979 he married Debra E. Brown, who survives in Leipsic.

Also surviving are 2 children:  Amanda Bils of Columbus Grove and Henry Adam Wyant of Leipsic; 4 grandchildren:  Nicolas, Ray, Daniel and Emma Bils; a great-granddaughter:  Amora Bils; 6 siblings:  Judy Kuhlman, Carol Schroeder, Shirley (Gib) Kleman, Barbara (Dan) Ellerbrock, Ruth Moore, Mary Horton, and Ronald (Karen) Wyant and a brother-in-law:  Wayne Settlemire.

Jim is preceded in death by 4 brothers:  David Wyant, Richard Wyant, Raymond Wyant and William Wyant and a sister:  Rose Wyant.

Jim retired after 36 years from Ward Construction, Leipsic.  He was an Army Vietnam veteran, where he served stateside.   He was a member of the Leipsic American Legion, Leipsic VFW-AMVETS; and was also was a member of the Leipsic Eagles.

The Wyant family will hold a private service on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Deacon Tom Niese officiating.
