Jane M. Lammers MILLER CITY – Jane M. Lammers, 87, of Miller City, passed away at 6:34 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born December 13, 1937, in Lucas County, Ohio to the late Walter and Eleanor (Gillen) Miller. On April 12, 1958 she married Norman J. Lammers who preceded her in death on July 19, 2021. Jane is survived by eight children: Mark Lammers of Leipsic, James (Joan) Lammers of Miller City, Robert Lammers of New Bavaria, Anita (Tony) Stechschulte of Miller City, Fred (Melissa) Lammers of Curtice, Julie (Aaron) Kahle of Glandorf, Joe (Megan) Lammers of Kettering and Angela Lammers of Deshler; 35 grandchildren: Randy, Adam, Hannah, Luke, Zach, Abby, Hope, Josiah, Noah, Caleb, Ethan, Preston, Dreema, RyLeigh, Morgan, Bryceton, Tyler, Ryan, Shane, Allysa, Jordan, Kelvin, Stevan, Jacob, Alex, Anthony, Justin, Grace, Lincoln, Ben, Isa, Josh, Dalton, Isabell and Blake; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother: Cyril (Janette) Miller of Raleigh, NC. She was preceded in death by her son: David Lammers; 4 siblings: Elmo (Alice) Miller, Opal (Donald) Niese, Monica (Victor) Niese, and Mary Alice Miller. Jane was a member of St Nicholas Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society, and was a welcoming door greeter at the Meadows of Ottawa. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Father Scott Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Radio or St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City.
