Janet M. Lehman MILLER CITY – Janet M. Lehman, 82, of Miller City, passed away at 7:22 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born September 20, 1942, in Lima to the late Louis and Florence (Recker) Brenner. On May 2, 1964, she married Joseph Lehman, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2018. She is survived by three children: Tom (Sandy) Lehman of Charlotte, NC, Dan (Kim) Lehman and Sue Meyer, both of Ottawa; four grandchildren: Kyle Meyer, Brittney Meyer, Justin Lehman and Travis Lehman; two great-grandchildren: Ashland Meyer and Eleanor Rogers; four siblings: Mary (Jim) Freund, Margie (Dave Maassel) Brenner, LouAnn (Greg) Gasser, and Randy (Lori) Brenner; two brothers-in-law: Tom Geyer and Larry Dietering; and in-laws: Carl (Joan) Lehman and Bob (Annette) Meyer. She was also preceded in death by two siblings: Judy Geyer and Diane Dietering; and in-laws: Freddie (Alvera) Verhoff and Barney (Donna Marie) Ellerbrock. Janet previously worked in the cafeteria at Miller City High School and was a homemaker. She was member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, its Altar Rosary Society and C.L. of C. Janet loved to bake, especially wedding and graduation cakes, and Christmas candy. She also enjoyed camping and flower gardening. Above all, Janet loved her family immensely and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, with a rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the Mass on Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. A vigil service will be held at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.lovefuneralhome.com
