Janet M. Imm
Ottawa – Janet M. Imm, 65, of Ottawa died 5:53 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her residence.   She was born February 26, 1947 in Ottawa to the late George and Mildred (Koenig) Schreiber.  On July 29, 1967, she married William Imm and he survives in Ottawa.
Janet is survived by her 3 children: Sherry (Francis) Siefer of Ottawa; Bruce (Cara) Imm of Ottawa and Brian (Sara) Imm of Glandorf; 5 grandchildren: Emily Siefer, Erica Siefer, Zachary Imm, Leah Imm and Aubrey Imm; a sister: Joyce (Frank) D'Arcangelo and a brother: Joseph (Judy) Schreiber; and 3 godchildren: Frank D'Arcangelo, Vicki Otto and Teresa Rohrs.  She was preceded in death also by a brother: Richard Schreiber.
Janet retired as a clerical worker at Philips in Ottawa on February 18, 1994.   She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa; a lifetime member of Ottawa VFW Auxiliary and a former Ottawa Firelady.  She loved being with her grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed her summers at Lake Erie and winters in Florida. Janet and her husband owned racehorses and enjoyed their time racing them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 2:30 p.m. and a VFW service at 7:00 p.m.
