Jaunt Dexter McClure
Ft. Jennings – Jaunt Dexter McClure, 65, of Ft. Jennings died Friday, October 26, 2012 at his residence.  He was born July 16, 1947 in Paulding to Donald O. and Mary (Swicker) McClure.  His father is deceased and mother survives in Lima.
Jaunt is survived by his step-children: Robert A. Truesdale of Lima; Jeremy A. Truesdale of Elida and Jauntina M. (Truesdale) Dee of Lima; 2 brothers: Jerry (Navette)  McClure of Vaughnsville and Larry McClure of Lima; 2 sisters: Darlene (Bob) Sharerard  of Lima and Nancy (Robert Mitchell) Caraway of Ottawa; 10 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are 2 brothers: Jeff and Chuck McClure and a sister: Judy McClure.
Jaunt was a veteran of the Army and Navy serving in Vietnam.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township, corner of St. Rt. 224 and 634.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont with military graveside service by Continental American Legion.  Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
