Jay C. Hanneman

KALIDA – Jay C. Hanneman, 49, of Kalida, passed away, Monday, February 26, 2024.  He was born December 17, 1974, in Lima to James and Patricia (Inkrott) Hanneman, who survive in Kalida.  On November 4, 2016, he married Tammy Porter, she survives in Kalida.

Jay is also survived by three children:  Katelyn (Erik) Fischer of Ashville, Jason (Megan) Hanneman of Commercial Point, and Austin Hanneman of Ashville; a stepson: Petey Porter of Van Wert; a grandson: Colton Fischer;  his fur baby: Cheyenne; two sisters: Valerie (Tim) Laukhuf of Cloverdale, Janine (Derrick) Walls of St. Mary's; and a brother: Brent (Amanda) Hanneman of Kalida; nieces and nephews: Christian Laukhuf, Alec Laukhuf, Jenna Hanneman, Tyler Hanneman, Alivia Walls and Dylan Walls; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by a stepson, Eric Porter.

Jay had previously worked at KMI, Kalida.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
