Jeanette A. Borgelt
KALIDA – Jeanette A. Borgelt, 72, of Kalida died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at The Meadows of Kalida. Jeanette was born January 28, 1940 in Lima to the late Ralph and Viola (Kuhlman) Niese. On July 15, 1961 she married Paul Borgelt and he survives in Kalida.
Also surviving are 5 children: Duane Borgelt of Kingsport, TN., Fr. Daniel Borgelt of Napoleon, Sharolyn (Phil) Conrad of Seymour, TN., Keith (Arlondria) Borgelt of Roswell, GA., and Bernice (Andrew) Lawrence of Lima; 4 grandchildren: Taylor Borgelt, Morgan Borgelt, Tyson Borgelt, and Rose Lawrence; a step-granddaughter: Cassandra Plaugher; a brother: Richard (Sharon) Niese of Hamler; and a sister: Ruth Ann (Steve) Coble of Miller City. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Rose Ann Borgelt; and a brother: Norman Niese.
Jeanette retired from Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Hamler High School. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a loving mother who enjoyed gardening and canning. Jeanette was extremely patient with her family and the residents and families of Putnam Acres Care Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Daniel Borgelt and Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be an Altar Rosary service Friday at 7.
