Jeff J. Maras

CONTINENTAL – Jeff J. Maras, 63, of Continental, died at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his residence.  He was born June 15, 1960, in Tiffin, Ohio to Clifford Smith and Janet Nesbitt. He was raised in Holland, Ohio by John and Jean Maras.

Survivors include his biological mother, Janet (Nesbitt) Skinner of Port Clinton; significant other, Iva Bish of Continental; daughter, Stephanie (Matt) Holcombe of Easley, S.C.; six grandchildren: Jordan (Sydney), Danielle, Izabelle, Jerred, Hannah and Zac; four great-grandchildren: Bentley, Pressleigh, Ryker and Memphis; five siblings: Debby Maras of Holland, Duane Smith of Tiffin, Ronald (Mary Jo) Smith of Defiance, Kathy (Raymond) Albright of MD, Steve Smith of Genoa; seven nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Clifford Smith; parents, John and Jean Maras; and a sister, Bonnie Harris.

Jeff retired from Kellar's Trucking, Napoleon.  He was a veteran of the US Army. Jeff loved riding motorcycles and going to casinos.

No funeral services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
